As a result of SUSU's award, Womanist Trilliance has been able to continue hosting Womanist Film Night, no cost community screenings + discussions of black/queer cinema around the SF Bay Area and secure necessary equipment for programming.

The Black Joy Mixtape

Support amount: $300

This project used the funds to invest in headshots by a Black woman photographer that were featured in the May issue of Essence Magazine's #Woke100. We have also been able to update our media materials and will be supporting a Black woman designer for a media kit.

The grant was very helpful to cover child care and some food costs for a gathering we hosted in April which kicked off our #FreeThemAll mass commutations campaign.
